Usually reluctant on being in medias, Daft Punk made their first TV appearance ever during the 50th Grammy ceremony last night. Performing with Kanye West on his track "Stronger" the French duet pushed the buttons in their now trademarked pyramid.

We love Detroit
Championed by every minimal and electro DJ at some point last year, it went down as one of the best of 2007. Here we are not speaking about the terrible " Put your Hands Up for Detroit " but the deep and moody " Who's Afraid of Detroit " from Claude Von Stroke.
The official video has finally dropped. Shot in the windy city and for some parts at the DEMF ( Detroit Electronic Music Festival ), it pays homage to this influential place in the electronic music history.

We are family !
Tuneglue will have you spending hours typing and looking up for artists you know and those who you don't.
Fed with Last.fm and Amazon databases, the site helps you visualize the connections between artists through animated graphics. Type your favorite band name and see who sounds similar or could be related with.
Addictive but informative, to say the least...
Fight for your right to party
It takes a small group of mates, some records and few bottles to hold a nice house party. For some, it is not enough and that was the case of sixteen-year-old Corey Delaney who posted on the internet an invitation to his own house thing.
His parents had left for some holiday and they were far from thinking that at the same time 500 people had come to their crib in Melbourne for a party of mayhem. Corey argues the whole thing went out of his hands and before he realised what whas going on, it was far too late.
The police was called by the neighbors only to see themselves faced by the pack of revellers. After police cars and property were damaged, 30 officers, a dog squad and a helicopter were called as back-up, leaving Corey unapologetic and proud of himself.
See for yourself our hero of the month.

Fabric tells Justice " You're not coming in "

Electro duo of 2007 Justice were awaited by their fans and Fabric CDs alike for their the mix CD debut. The date of December was chosen but, alas, Fabric will never put their mix out.
Arguing they didn't want to release just another loud compilation, Justice instead chose a very personal list of tracks, mixing obvious French influences and corny tracks. Stepping away from a dancefloor compilation, and with such a daring list of no-names ( it could have been a great Back To Mine ), the CD got nixed by the label but is living on the internet. Distributed by Ed Banger as a Christmas gift, it is now one hot file exchanged on the web.
We're not failing. Since the free distribution is encouraged and as we dig the hairy boys, download the mix HERE.
